The following products cannot be imported into Guyana:

• ❌ Infected cattle, sheep, or other animals, or animal parts (hides, skins, horns, hoofs, carcasses) – To prevent communicable diseases

• ❌ Goods violating trademarks or without country-of-origin labeling – Trademark legislation

• ❌ Prepared opium and opium pipes – Public health

• ❌ Shaving brushes from Japan – Technical regulation (due to past tetanus risks)

• ❌ Fictitious stamps or materials to create them – Public order

• ❌ Goods prohibited by any other Guyanese law – N/A

Some goods require special permits or licenses to be imported into Guyana:
