Schedule & Transit Information
Shared-container shipments are subject to cargo consolidation, equipment availability, carrier acceptance, routing, vessel schedules, and available space. Sailing dates, arrival dates, and transit times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Cargo may remain at our warehouse until consolidation requirements are met. Receiving cargo does not guarantee immediate loading or departure. Royal Shipping Lines is not liable for delays, additional expenses, or consequential losses resulting from weather, port congestion, carrier delays, customs inspections, government actions, labor disputes, force majeure, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, to the extent permitted by law.
Payment Terms
Full payment is required before shipment unless otherwise agreed in writing. Royal Shipping Lines reserves the right to withhold shipment or document release until all outstanding charges are paid, subject to applicable law.
Cargo Insurance
Marine cargo insurance is not included in shipping rates and must be requested and purchased separately before shipment. Customers are responsible for obtaining adequate insurance against theft, damage, loss, shortage, and other shipping risks. Uninsured cargo travels at the customer's risk, subject to applicable law and carrier liability provisions.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Royal Shipping Lines' liability for cargo loss or damage is limited to USD $100 per vehicle. Royal Shipping Lines is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or shipping delays, except where liability cannot legally be excluded. All shipments are subject to the applicable Bill of Lading, carrier terms, and governing maritime laws.
2EXPORT ELIGIBILITY & DOCUMENTATIONVehicle ownership, import eligibility, and required export documentation.⌄
Vehicle Ownership Requirements
A valid original vehicle title and proof of legal ownership are required for export. Vehicles with active liens, financing agreements, or ownership restrictions will not be accepted unless all liens are released and the required legal documentation is provided. Royal Shipping Lines reserves the right to reject any vehicle with incomplete, invalid, or questionable ownership documentation.
Import Eligibility
Customers are solely responsible for verifying that their vehicles meet all import requirements and restrictions at the destination country, including vehicle age, model year, title status, emissions, and applicable regulations. Shipping quotations and booking confirmations do not guarantee import eligibility or customs clearance at destination. Royal Shipping Lines is not responsible for vehicles denied entry, seized, detained, or rejected by foreign authorities, or for any resulting charges, penalties, or losses, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Documentation Requirements
Customers are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and valid export documentation within the required deadlines. Missing, incorrect, altered, expired, or incomplete documents may result in shipment delays, additional charges, storage fees, cancellation, or refusal of shipment. Royal Shipping Lines reserves the right to suspend or cancel shipments until all documentation requirements are satisfied. Customers are responsible for resulting expenses to the extent permitted by law.

Rate Verification
All shipping rates are subject to verification and final confirmation by Royal Shipping Lines. Quotations are subject to change based on carrier rates, terminal fees, equipment availability, market conditions, and other applicable costs. Rates may change between booking confirmation and actual shipment due to geopolitical conflicts, political instability, changes in trade regulations, bunker/fuel surcharges, peak season surcharges, emergency carrier surcharges, security fees, or other carrier-imposed charges. Royal Shipping Lines reserves the right to adjust rates and pass through applicable increases in shipping costs at the time of shipment, subject to the applicable shipping agreement and law.
Cargo Information Accuracy
All rates are based on the cargo information provided by the customer, including vehicle type, dimensions, weight, condition, contents, and operating status. Royal Shipping Lines reserves the right to adjust pricing, suspend service, or refuse shipment if actual cargo details differ from those originally declared.
Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for providing complete, accurate, and truthful information throughout the shipping process. Customers are responsible for additional charges, penalties, storage, delays, inspections, or other expenses resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information, to the extent permitted by law. Royal Shipping Lines is not liable for resulting delays or losses caused by customer-provided misinformation, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
4SHARED-CONTAINER CONSOLIDATION REQUIREMENTSCargo consolidation, loading priority, and estimated departure schedules.⌄
Consolidation Service
Shared-container shipping is subject to cargo consolidation, available space, equipment availability, and operational requirements. Cargo may remain at our warehouse until sufficient compatible cargo is available to complete a container shipment.
Destination Service Availability
Certain destinations may experience extended waiting periods due to cargo volume, consolidation requirements, carrier schedules, routing restrictions, or operational conditions. Royal Shipping Lines does not guarantee consolidation periods, loading dates, vessel availability, or departure schedules.
Warehouse Delivery
Delivery of a vehicle to our warehouse does not guarantee immediate loading, container availability, or vessel departure.
Consolidation Priority
Royal Shipping Lines reserves the right to determine container loading plans, cargo compatibility, shipment priority, and loading order based on operational requirements. Vehicles are not necessarily loaded in the order received.
Delays & Liability
Royal Shipping Lines is not liable for delays, additional expenses, missed deadlines, or consequential losses resulting from consolidation requirements, cargo availability, schedule changes, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, except where liability cannot legally be excluded. All shipments remain subject to the applicable shipping terms, Bill of Lading, and governing laws.
5WAREHOUSE STORAGE & CHARGESStorage fees, unclaimed vehicles, and liability during storage.⌄
Warehouse Charges
Vehicles received without complete documentation, payment, or shipping approval may incur storage, handling, administrative, or other applicable charges.
Storage Charges
Vehicles remaining beyond the applicable free storage period are subject to storage fees and related charges at Royal Shipping Lines' published or agreed rates. Storage charges continue to accrue until the vehicle is shipped or removed from our facility. All outstanding charges must be paid before vehicle release, subject to applicable law.
Unclaimed Vehicles
Vehicles not collected, documented, or made ready for shipment within the required timeframe may be removed from the shipping schedule and subject to additional storage, handling, or administrative charges. Royal Shipping Lines reserves the right to refuse further service and pursue lawful remedies for unpaid charges or abandoned vehicles, including removal or disposal where permitted by law and after any required notice.
Storage Liability
Vehicles stored at our facility are not automatically covered by marine cargo insurance. Royal Shipping Lines is not liable for theft, vandalism, weather-related damage, deterioration, or other loss or damage occurring during storage, except to the extent liability cannot legally be excluded. Customers are responsible for maintaining adequate insurance coverage while their vehicles remain in storage.
Liability for Delays
Royal Shipping Lines is not responsible for storage-related delays or additional expenses caused by incomplete documentation, unpaid balances, customer inaction, or failure to collect vehicles, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

Cargo Condition
All vehicles and cargo must be presented in safe condition for handling, loading, and ocean transportation.
Oversized, inoperable, damaged, hazardous, or non-standard cargo may require special handling, additional charges, carrier approval, or revised pricing.
Royal Shipping Lines reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or cancel shipment of cargo deemed unsafe, improperly declared, or unsuitable for transportation.
Inspection Rights
Royal Shipping Lines, carriers, terminals, customs authorities, and other authorized parties reserve the right to inspect, measure, weigh, or verify cargo at any stage of shipment, as permitted by law.
Inspections may result in additional handling charges, revised cargo classifications, delays, or refusal of shipment.
Customers are responsible for applicable inspection fees, storage, handling, and related expenses, except where caused by Royal Shipping Lines' legally actionable conduct.
Cargo Information Accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate information regarding vehicle condition, dimensions, weight, operating status, hazardous materials, cargo contents, and shipment details.
Undeclared cargo, incorrect measurements, or misleading information may result in additional charges, shipment delays, rejection, or cancellation.
Royal Shipping Lines is not liable for delays, penalties, or losses resulting from inaccurate or incomplete customer-provided information, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
7CUSTOMS & IMPORT RESPONSIBILITIESDestination import compliance, charges, delays, and cargo detention.⌄
Customer Responsibilities
Customers are solely responsible for verifying and complying with all destination country import regulations, including vehicle age restrictions, title requirements, environmental regulations, customs procedures, and import permits.
Royal Shipping Lines provides export shipping services only and does not guarantee import eligibility or customs clearance at destination.
Destination Charges
Destination charges are not included in shipping rates unless expressly stated in writing.
Customers are responsible for all applicable import duties, taxes, customs clearance, brokerage fees, terminal handling charges, inspections, storage, demurrage, port charges, government fees, and related expenses.
Destination Delays
Customs inspections, documentation reviews, government examinations, quarantine, fumigation, and port procedures may result in delays and additional charges.
Royal Shipping Lines is not liable for delays or expenses resulting from destination customs or government procedures beyond our reasonable control, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Refused Entry & Cargo Detention
Royal Shipping Lines is not responsible for vehicles refused entry, detained, seized, abandoned, or rejected by destination authorities, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Customers are responsible for all resulting expenses, including storage, penalties, return shipping, disposal, or other applicable charges, to the extent permitted by law.
All shipments remain subject to the applicable Bill of Lading, carrier terms, and governing laws.
8PERSONAL EFFECTS & CARGO INSIDE VEHICLESPacking lists, personal effects, customs inspections, and prohibited cargo.⌄
Packing List Requirements
All items placed inside a vehicle must be declared and approved before shipment. A packing list showing the quantity, description, and estimated value of each item is required.
Undeclared or additional cargo may result in surcharges, inspections, delays, or refusal of shipment.
Personal Effects
Personal belongings and loose cargo inside vehicles are shipped at the customer's sole risk.
Royal Shipping Lines is not responsible for theft, loss, shortage, or damage to personal effects, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Customs Inspections
Personal effects may be subject to customs inspections, duties, taxes, restrictions, unloading, or rejection by destination authorities.
Customers are responsible for all resulting charges, penalties, delays, and expenses, to the extent permitted by law.
Prohibited Cargo
Undeclared, illegal, prohibited, restricted, hazardous, or regulated items are not permitted without prior written approval and all required authorizations.
Royal Shipping Lines reserves the right to inspect, reject, remove, or refuse shipment of noncompliant cargo, subject to applicable law.
Customers are responsible for resulting expenses and legally recoverable losses arising from prohibited or improperly declared cargo.
9DESTINATION CLEARANCE & IMPORT BROKERImport clearance, broker appointment, and destination-related expenses.⌄
Destination Clearance
Customers are solely responsible for arranging customs clearance, import permits, documentation, and cargo release at destination.
Import Broker
Customers must appoint a licensed customs broker, import agent, or authorized representative when required by destination regulations.
Royal Shipping Lines provides export shipping services only and does not arrange or guarantee destination customs clearance, import approval, or cargo release.
Liability & Additional Charges
Royal Shipping Lines is not responsible for delays, denied clearance, cargo detention, storage, demurrage, penalties, or other expenses resulting from destination import procedures, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
All destination-related charges remain the customer's responsibility unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
10BOOKING CANCELLATIONS & CHARGESCancellation fees, incurred expenses, and outstanding balances.⌄
Cancellation Charges
Booking cancellations may be subject to applicable cancellation fees, administrative charges, carrier penalties, storage fees, gate-in/gate-out fees, inland transportation charges, and other costs incurred.
Customers are responsible for all applicable charges resulting from cancellation, including services already performed and non-refundable expenses.
Royal Shipping Lines reserves the right to deduct applicable charges from payments received and require settlement of any outstanding balance, subject to the booking agreement and applicable law.
11INSURANCE, LIABILITY & FORCE MAJEUREMarine cargo insurance, limitations of liability, and events beyond our control.⌄
Cargo Insurance
Marine cargo insurance is not included in shipping rates and must be requested and purchased separately before shipment.
Customers are responsible for obtaining insurance against theft, loss, damage, shortage, fire, water damage, accidents, natural disasters, and other shipping risks.
Uninsured cargo travels at the customer's risk, subject to applicable law and carrier liability provisions.
Limitation of Liability
Royal Shipping Lines is not responsible for pre-existing damage, mechanical defects, normal wear and tear, rust, corrosion, deterioration, undisclosed cargo conditions, loss of use, depreciation, or customs-related delays, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Royal Shipping Lines' liability for cargo loss or damage is limited to USD $100 per vehicle.
Royal Shipping Lines is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or business interruption, except where prohibited by law.
Force Majeure
Royal Shipping Lines is not liable for delays, additional costs, schedule changes, cargo consolidation delays, or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including weather, natural disasters, geopolitical conflicts, port congestion, vessel delays, customs holds, government actions, labor disputes, civil unrest, and other force majeure events.
All services are subject to the applicable Bill of Lading, carrier terms, and governing laws.
12VEHICLE SIZE, CLASSIFICATION & INSURANCE REQUIREMENTSVehicle size limits, special classifications, and mandatory insurance.⌄
Vehicle Size Restrictions
Published shared-container rates apply only to vehicles measuring 20 feet or less in overall length, including any attached accessories or modifications.
Vehicles exceeding 20 feet require individual review and quotation. Royal Shipping Lines reserves the right to revise pricing or refuse shipment based on actual vehicle dimensions and loading requirements.
Heavy-Duty Trucks
Heavy-duty pickup trucks, including 2500, 3500, and similar models, require individual quotations regardless of vehicle length. Published rates do not apply.
Classic, Exotic & High-End Vehicles
Classic, exotic, luxury, collectible, high-value, and specialty vehicles require individual review and quotation. Published rates do not automatically apply.
Royal Shipping Lines reserves the right to require additional handling, documentation, insurance, or carrier approval before accepting these vehicles.
Vehicles Valued Over $50,000
Cargo insurance is mandatory for vehicles valued over USD $50,000.
Insurance may be purchased through Royal Shipping Lines or an independent insurance provider.
Customers obtaining independent coverage must provide a valid marine cargo insurance certificate acceptable to Royal Shipping Lines before shipment.
Royal Shipping Lines reserves the right to refuse or suspend shipment until satisfactory proof of insurance is received and verified.

By submitting a shipping order, confirming a booking, delivering cargo, or using our services, the customer acknowledges having access to and agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, including all applicable carrier, warehouse, terminal, customs, and destination requirements.
Customers are responsible for reviewing these terms before placing an order. All services are subject to applicable laws and the governing Bill of Lading.

Shared Container shipping is a cost-effective way to ship vehicles overseas by sharing container space with other vehicles. Cars, trucks, SUVs, and other eligible vehicles are securely loaded and transported together in a shipping container.
